I on behalf of the international executive council and the general membership of the Global Grassroot Youth Forum (GGRYF) congratulate you on your new appointment as the eighth secretary general of the United Nations.

I want to believe that the general assembly of the United Nations was guided accordingly in respect of your appointment as the number one citizen of the world. I have read a lot about you and I have found in you a man of great enamors influence.

I charge and encourage you to serve the world in truth and to fight the global challenges that characterize the people of our societies in the spirit of the brotherhood of man. Let the peaceful coexistence of the people of: Dafur, Iraq, Iran and other war zones who are presently facing perilous moments be the major focus of your administration

I want to use this medium to appeal to your incoming administration to embrace youth activities and ensure that youth participation is a thing of priority in the UN activities most especially towards the achievement of the millennium development goals.

We members of the Global Grassroot Youth Forum worldwide mourn with the Families of the senior military officers who lost their lives in the Sunday plan crash in Mbakunu, Benue State of Nigeria.

This is a great loose to the people of Nigeria and the world at large and we here have describe this as an unprecedented catastrophe, to this end we are calling on the whole world to mourn with the government and people of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria most especially the families of the affected victims.

For the survivors we encourage you to keep your faith on God who save you from the jars of death and believe that he alone can heal you.
